Catherine is the daughter of a knight who loves birds, pranks and fighting with her father. This story is set in England and gives the reader a glimpse of life in Medieval times. Like the Renaissance Festival without plumbing and a first aid station.

The story is fun and enjoyable and is told in the form of a journal so it reads more like a collection of short stories then a book. The story does have some clever elements however some may find this tiresome as the book progresses.
